I have a choice, over work it, or go cross eyed...
I think it's time to quit  :D

Hi Paula
Gosh, did I start something here; ::) just as many remarks about the poor legless horse as the many attempts and examples of a repaired photo.  I'm truly amazed at the pic you ended up with, there is so much detail in the cart.  I suggest the man leading the horse is probable Tom Jones the name on the cart.  The young lad, sadly was killed in action during WW1.

Thank you so much for all the work you obviously done to produce this detailed image.

Glad you like it Roy. It was difficult, but I managed to get something out of it in the end.
Sad about the little feller, there were so many.....

Hi Rabbit
Don't you just like the old photos; usually we moan 'if only they had written names' etc, etc, on the back, here we have "Fresh Milk Daily", "T [Thomas] Jones", "Brith [Brithdir]" and I think I can see "Stop" maybe "and Buy One" is on the other side of the cart.  Plenty of info for family history purposes.

Thanks for your efforts and time and kindness in producing such fine reminders of the past.

Regards, Roy

Hi Roy,

Cracking picture, I think that this is an old pony.  He has a rough coat which I have left like that on purpose, a lump on his fetlock, [Off hind]  But he looks in good nick for his age.  The only wording I could see on the side of the trap, was Fresh Milk Daily.

I think it is a lovely picture.  Thank you for sharing it.
