Pietro Pierachini / Pieraccini. Tuscany Italy born abt 1807

Actually looking for information on Pietro's father - Giacomo Pierachini.  Farmer/Gardener. Italy.

Unfortunately the last name has been constantly misspelt for generations, so accuracy regarding the proper spelling is hard.  However on the documents of Pietro and Giacomo they both read as Pierachini.

Quite possibly Giacomo might have come to visit Pietro to see his grand children in 1837, from Pietro's first marriage to Margaret Brady.

Giacomo Perusini  Could this be misspelt again, and actually be Pierachini.

Country of Origin/Native of: Italy
Class: HO 2
Certificate Number: 1560

If anyone could give me any information on Giacomo, I would appreciate it.  I would estimate his birth in Italy would be around 1770 to to 1790.

probably gives you a bigger headache - but at least you now know Perusini IS an Italian surname and could have been his actual name and not a mistranscription

Oh Dear! Sorry. I do know Eaton Bray slightly as it is close to Luton where I was born. It's a lovely little village. We used to go fishing there when I was younger and they had a brilliant pub in the 70s called The Anchor which did fab meals. Is very near to Dunstable Downs too. Kind Regards Elle

I had the pleasure of going there last September and meeting up with distant family, who took us around all of Eaton Bray and parts of Dunstable.  So beautiful there and interesting to see where my ancestors lived and worked.  They ran the Bellows Mill for a long time, with most of my ancestors born there, so it was great to have a little look around. Wonderful memories of our trip there.

Sounds like you have fond memories of your childhood there.
