Thank you all so much!

Don't think Jane was a sister of Hannah. Hannah had 12 brother/sisters and half brothers etc.  but no Jane amongst them.  Hannah was born in 1847 so is too young to be mother of William Robson, born in (Stillington) York and in York in 1861 census.

Yes Abraham is son of John and Ann from Thompson in Norfolk.  Thanks for info re Ovington Parish.  Will do some research on this.  Unable to find anything on Abraham in 1861.

Brilliant info on ship etc. is any of the info on line?

Thanks again help much appreciated.

Could be Jane Robson was married before and that was a child of hers from a previous marriage , or she was not married at all and William was an illigitimate child of Jane's.  You would need to get the marriage of Abraham to Jane to figure that one out.

Robson was a very common name in the area, not quite as bad a Smith or Thompson.  I have quite a few Robson's in my family unrelated to each other.
