If you could conduct an 1851 census-lookup for me it would be most appreciated.
This request is to help determine whether James PESKETT and Sophia PESKETT were siblings or not, and to find any available information on their parents and siblings.
At the time of the 1851 census, Sophia would have been 4 years old and living in Dartford, Kent, England. Her birthplace was also Dartford.
James would have been about 2 years of age at the time, and was certainly living in Dartford by 1873, although I don't know his whereabouts in 1851.
Both of them having the uncommon name of Peskett, being of similar age, and having a common friend in later life (as records show) my guess is that they were brother and sister, and therefore members of the same household in 1851.
In married life they both lived in Maiden Lane, Dartford; but I have no record of their exact whereabouts in 1851.
Note though, that there are many variant spellings of the name Peskett; for example, James's children alone were recorded in various places as PESKETT, PASKET, PISKETT and even TESKETT. What James and Sophia may appear as in the 1851 census I know not!
If anybody can shed any light on any of this, I will be very grateful.
