Hi Cotten,

Maybe you could list the decending line you have down from James Robert Cotton as far as you have it - I gather you have it up to at least the 1911 census so list the names and maybe someone has one of them in thier tree and can make a link for you.

have fun

Hi,

If you follow this link...

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

It will give you all the marriages of James Cotton from 1911.

If you follow this link it will give you deaths...

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

however he would be of an age to have gone to have fought in the 1st World War so it is possible he didnt survive - however I cant find a record of his death in the war records.

There is a James R Cotton imigrating to the states but I do not have access to view the records to see where he is from.

Hope this somehow helps.

Yi

Hi all,

A bit dated now, but here goes,

I have an Esther Maria b1860 in my familty tree. She was a sister of my Gt G'father George William Bloomfield 1862-1945.

Local family names in my direct line are Batho, Cady, Pallant and Burrows.

In the wider tree I have Nicols, Cotton, Cook, Chatten, Eagle, Ryder and Moss leading into the early 1900's.

Can I be of any help?

Denis.
