Hi alancfradgley
You didn't say if the Shares are on your tree? If they are I can help you quite a bit. There seem to have been several pubs/taverns and beerhouses around in the 1850s. The only mention I have to the name of one kept by Sarah was the Kings Head on the 1851 census and then in the County Express; Brierley Hill, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, and Dudley News 10 April 1869 " Transfer of Licenses
The King William Inn, Holly Hall, from Daniel Baker, deceased, to Sarah Baker." Daniel Baker was Sarah's second husband. i made several enquiries and was told the King's Head was the King William. How well do you know the history of the Jolly Collier ? I know it is in the 1835 Pigot and Co.'s National Commercial Directory ...: Worcestershire
