Is the Windleshaw Abbey the one in St.Helens, if so I dont think there are war graves , however I do have the
CD which lists all the names of people who are buried there if thats any help to you, pm me and I can give you the list.

Margie,

Dear Margie,
I have been unable to find a burial for William Macarthy (or variant spellings) who died in St Helens on 27 Nov 1864.

I believe he was a Roman Catholic so I was interested  to see the postings about this cemetery at Windleshaw Abbey.

If you could do a look-up for me I would be really grateful.

Thanks
