If that is the case someone would need to know who they are buried with, the Graveyard is in a very bad state, and a lot of the headstones you are unable to read the inscriptions, I have had quick look at the MI some of the men are listed from WW1 but are not buried there.

Can you give me the names and I will look again, also have you tried the
St.Helens Connect site to see if anyone can help you with the photo,s.

Regards Margie.

Hi Margie, the individual that I am interested in is Private Webster.  As far as I am aware, his headstone is actually a CWGC War grave and not a private family memorial

Phil

WINDLESHAW ABBEY ROMAN CATHOLIC CEMETERY
WEBSTER. REGINALD JOSEPH, 3656469 - Grave 1122.
The son of Joseph and Flora Webster, of St. Helens, and husband of Anne Webster, of Parr, St. Helens. Private Webster originally enlisted with the South Lancashire Regiment, prior to transferring to the Border Regiment. He died in the UK whilst on active service on 15th march 1947, aged 28. Possibly as a result of wounds sustained in Burma.
