Hi
I'm trying to find any descendents of my paternal grandparents James Park Major (1893-1958) and Helen Kerr (1895-1970) who lived in the Queen Mary buildings in Duntocher and then 9 Auchentoshan Avenue. They had 8 children:
James Park Major                1914-1990
Mary McCutcheon Major      1918-1938
Hugh Kerr Major                  1920-1988
Helen Major                         1922-1982
Jean Kerr Major                   1924-????
Bunty McCutcheon Major     1926-1991
William Kerr Major                1930-1965
Sarah Major                         1933-??????

Mary's married name was Harrison, Bunty's was Findlay, and Sarah (Sadie) was Paterson.
Any info would be appreciated.

There is a William McCutcheon Major, born 7 Jul 1891, New Kilpatrick. Parents- James Major & Mary McCutcheon Major on Record Search (Pilot site)  Does he belong to your family?

brian 432 the majors relatives still live in duntocher i know sadie i was chatting to her yesterday my brother is the partner of one of buntys granddaughters

Hi Brian, my name is Tracy Balfour.  I am the eldest grand daughter of Bunty Major.  Most of bunty's children live in the clydebank area.
