Thanks for the reply.  My sister told me there were two.  She must be going daft!  She lives in that area.  RosemaryJoan

My sister is not going daft after all!  There ARE two libraries on the Cregagh Road.  One is at Hindsdale Park, opposite Downshire Park and the other is between Portallo Street and Redcar Street, according to my Belfast Street map.

There is only one on the Cregagh Road. Cregagh Library is the one opposite Downshire Park. The other Library is Woodstock Road Library. It is on the Woodstock Road. The map propbly does not show where the Woodstock road ends and the Cregagh road starts.

I'm not sure if you can tell this from google maps etc, but if you are going to visit the Cregagh library from the  Knock Dual Carriageway (A55) end of the Cregagh Road, it is quite well hidden from the main road.

In case this helps - approx 200 yards from the Carriageway -  on the right hand side ...look out for a row of shops (bakery, newsagents, chemist etc)and a pelican/pedestrian crossing....Turn left immediately (and slowly) at this crossing and hopefully you'll be able to drive in to the library grounds and park.
