Hi Valgenie,

Just a few questions -

Do you know which state in Australia Charles was living in?  His occupation?  Place of birth and parents' names?  His wife's name? Was he a widower or divorced when he came to Australia (i.e. free to marry again)?  How sure are you of his arrival year?

Debra

There is only one "Charles Howard Johson" shown on electoral rolls up to 1954 (which is where my access ends).  Plenty of other "Charles Johnson"s

1949 and 1954
Charles Howard JOHNSON, seaman, 146 Crown St, division of West Sydney
Doris JOHNSON, home duties at same address

Charles H Johnson 54, shipwright
Harriett Johnson 37
Julia A Johnson 12
Charles H Johnson 5
Ernest E Johnson 1
