Please . airman killed in Action

Is there anyone that could possible save some of this pic of my Gt Grandad
He was in the Royal Navy Flying Corps and he was killed in action.
I do not have the knowledge to do this work

I feel sure someone will have a go at it very soon.   I wish I could help.  Perhpas modify the title to mention that he was killed in action.

Hi

I did download this before you changed the title  :)

However, it is a big job and will take me a good while - I can only work on restores in blocks of 30 mins max.

Others may come on and produce something faster but just to let you know that I've started  on it.

I'm having to find little  unblemished bits to repair him with.

Thanks so much for trying. This photo must have been in a wet garage of someplace horrible. I guess it is the only photo in existance before he was killed.
I have tried to do this myself, but I just do not know where to begin.
You can cut out the background if you wish. I do not want you to spend time that you do not have

Have you got a link to the details on the hat - not sure . All 3 of my cousins were in the RAF  but I've only seen photos of them with cap type hats    :-\

It is my mum’s dad in the Royal Naval Flying Corps during the 1st World 1
