Have you got anywhere with your search. There is a John Maginnes in Weavers Row Ballyblagh (Ballyblough) in Griffiths Valuation. I think this family attended High St (Lurgan First) Presbyterian.
Areas Lurgan and neighbouring townlands in the Parishes of Shankill and Seagoe, Toomebridge County Antrim, Queens County New York, Hartford Connecticut, Michigan USA. Names Doyle McElroy Pollock  Harte Neill Hall Mc Cully Wright Boyle Murray Mc Conaghy Mc Cann Brown Patterson Carson Hines Lauder Waters Watson Hendron Tweedy Warnock

Sadly I haven't got any further with my search but think Daniel Maginnes and Mary Ann Hamilton married Shankill Lurgan in 1879 are my great grand parents.

I am guessing Shankill COI Church of Christ the Redeemer because of the Hamilton name do you have the full date? I can try and get their fathers names.

Hi,
   Daniel Maginness married Mary Ann Hamilton on 2 Oct 1879 in Lurgan Civil Registrars Office. I cannot find any record of a church weddng.

Thank you that marriage date fits in with pieces of information I have managed to get.  Their children were born in Lurgan area, Margaret the eldest born 1881 then Mary Ann, Sarah, Samuel and Ellen Jane the youngest in 1894. I haven't managed to find out what happened to Daniel I thought maybe he had died in WW1 but still checking that out.  Your help is much appreciated.
