George Keeley born 1835/1836

Can anyone help me to seperate two George Keeleys born in Etchingham/Salehurst 1835/1836

One married a Lydia Goodsell in Dover Reg District in 1860, the other a Louisa Bishop in 1857 in Ticehurst Reg District

If the parish marriage records for Etchingham/Salehurst give the names of the fathers I can work out which one is "my" one

Hi Gerry,

The family Search Pilot Project & IGI has that the George marrying Louisa (4 July 1857)has a father named George.
Does that help?

That has solved the dilemma fortunately one father was called Thomas & the other George

I read your inquiry into George Keeley. Just wondering which George Keeley you were after. I am a descendant of George who married Lydia Goodsell. If this your ancestor can yo send me any information you may have about the current family.

My mother is the granddaughter of George and Lydia; Jennifer Lee. Her parents migrated to Australia in 1927 and never spoke or had any contact with the family that they left behind.

I have seven different persons named George Keeley in my records!

When making a posting on this site it is immensely helpful if you can include any dates (even just approximate) of birth, deaths & marriages

All my wife's Keeley relatives/ancestors were living in the Burwash/Robertsbridge/Etchingham/Salehurst area of what is now East Sussex

Please can you post a bit more detailed info for me & I'll get back to you

I do not seem to have the marriage you mention but may well have details on George
