Captain Frank P Henson 1876-1945

Seeking information on my grandfather.  He was one of the elder bretheren of Trinity House and sailed with Ellerman Wilson.  Have no more details.

Another line of information is the Maritime History Archives in Newfoundland, which has the UK Maritime documents. If you know the Official Number of the vessels he mastered, you can search for these vessels of which you can then order the doc's, although they are expensive.

If your you Grandfather mastered ships as part of Merchant Navy etc, you might also find some doc's at National Archives Kew, here is the link for searching for Seamen etc..
