I've not had a lot of luck finding RCers who can look things up in Lancashire - still it's always worth asking  ;D

 :o :o :o   ;D  ;D

I have been following all this so can I just butt in and say that the burial for the William at St Pauls Peel might not be the one that was born 1784.  There was another William baptised to a Thomas and Mary Wallwork on the 18th March, 1804 that could be the one buried in April, 1804.

regards,
Mo

Yes  ;D

The Thomas that had William in 1804 could well have been Williams Brother.  "our" William would have been 20 by then.

good point Mo, but William claims to be from Tydesley

There is only a mile and half between the two places or a few yards if you lived on the parish boundary.  He may well have been born in the Parish of Tyldesley, but his parents actually lived in Little Hulton or perhaps moved there before his baptism.  Loads of possibles.

In between coughing and sneezing I've looked at every Wallwork Family Tree available on line (I think)   Most of them go back to Thomas Wallwork or James Wallwork......... no ruddy William anywhere!!!!

Please don't tell me I've got another Ernest!!!        :o :o

Hiya... How many of us have an 'Uncle Alf'.... married as Alfred Thomas J...

Then the eventual birth cert is...   :o James Thomas Alfred....  ::)

Maybe we should be looking at these Thomas's and James's instead.... What do you think...???

This hunt has been really stuck on finding a William... and there's not much time left....  ;)
