Samuel 4mnths
John 20
Alice ?..Bodes..?ie...?? over page
Betty Topping 2yrs      over page

Same as Sue has found..
plus Sarah Anne, Eri, Joseph.

On top of page is
Thomas Cook's (60yrs) home...
Betty Topping is now 12 servant
Richard Topping (Nephew) 83.
John Whitehead lodger 33

Hi Les

OK........first off, Peter (John, William) married Alice Cook daughter of Peter Cook and Emma.

Eri is a name crops up in the family

That fist link takes me to Wallie's web site    ;D

The second link has a few Wallworks, but none of the names crop up on my side.

Don't really know what to 'feel' about the Whiteheads.......... yet!!     ;)

so Henry goes back to Richard 1818

'To date I have traced our Wallwork bloodline back to Richard and Elizabeth Wallwork from Broomhouse Lane, Pendleton. '

Am veering off track slightly but trying to find the connection betwixt Richard & William b. Tylesdly / John b. 1815ish

Veer as much as you like Toni...... I'd love to find the connection between the two.    ;D

Richard and Elizabeth have such a different naming pattern as well.    :-\

A Richard Wallwork was christened on 9 Aug 1818 in Eccles to a James and Ellin [sic] Wallwork

Eccles is this the area we are looking at?

James and Ellen also had other children in Eccles

Elizabeth Betty 29 Feb 1824
Roseanne do.
Daniel 29 Aug 1829
John 13 March 1816
Mary 3 May 1821

And in Pendleton
Ellen 6 Oct 1833

Are they the same James and Ellen?

William and Mary on the '41 are resident in Eccles, but they came from Tyldesley .........not too far away.

It's more Tyldesley/Walkden Toni........ I think!!!

James and Ellen are from Henry's lot

this is about Tyldesley have you seen it already?
It may give some clues as to why they moved out of Tyldesley to Walkden which is about an hour walk away
