I am descended from James Noctor & Sarah Penston Tara Hill also. They were my gr gr grandparents. They had 21 children. 19 boys and 2 girls. Many of the boys became carpenters as did many of their descendants. If you require me to give you any info to help you in your search, please pm me.

Correction
My great grandmother Jane Noctor (listed in the 1901/1911 census as wife) who married John Noctor her maiden name was QUINN born in carlow.  Her name was Jane Noctor nee Quinn

Does anyone have a Charles Noctor in their noctor genealogy.
I have just found out that Charles Noctor of Tarahill Co Wexford is my great great grandfather.
I have obtained the marriage details from GRO (reg image) of my great grandfather John Noctor who married Jane Quinn and the marriage is Nov 29 1893 in Tullow (Jane Noctor nee Quinn was from Carlow,  both John and Jane lived in Tarahill, Co Wexford.

On this marriage cert John Noctor's father is Charles Noctor .
Would appreciate any info

My family have long owned the lands on Tara Hill that once belonged to John and Jane Noctor. It’s a truly beautiful place, and I have many fond memories of camping there with my family from childhood well into my late twenties.

I’m currently trying to gather any historic photographs or information related to the laneway, house, piggery, or sheds that once stood on the property. I would be genuinely grateful for any help or memories of day to day life that others might be willing to share.
