Hi

I'm Probaby not in the right place but if you are still looking for descendants of Anne Sives I am her greatX5 grandson and this was established by Dave Forrest.

Hi Cornishscot :)

what a nice surprise,I would love to know Anne's deceased descendants, living descendants are not allowed to be named on Rootschat until such time when we can Private message each other - after you have posted 3messages.

you are right you are not in the right place but will ask for your post to be moved to the East Lothian board with the subject heading Sives.

A message to Fiona - I've just joined rootsweb so can't private message yet, but I tripped across your reference to Guthries on another post. I believe we have the same Largo-Guthrie ancestors. Please message me, I'd be interested to know how the history fits together.

Don

Hi Cornishscot

Welcome to Rootschat

is it Ann Sives married to Hugh Hannan or an Ann that married a Sives you are connected to. ?
Dave and I researched the Sives family together for a while, two heads are better than one :).
Dave will probably pop in and say hello

Fiona

I dont know if this helps, my ancestor Henry Foggo married a Marrion Sives, she was born about 1720 and her father name was James
