Do you know what Louisa's maiden name was?  And do you know the names of any of her and William's children?  I'm looking for a George William Wright, who seems to have arrived with the fairies, so anytime someone mentions a Wright I just have to check. ???

From my Ancestry and 23andme DNA, I now know that George William Wright was not my g.grandfather's birth name.  I've still to work out his birth name, although thanks to the DNA I do know which of a number of siblings was his mother or father.  I still think he was illegitimate because I've traced the legitimate children of these siblings and the only male born around the same time is definitely not my g.grandfather as I was able to follow his line until his death.

I suppose we all have a few bastards here and there in our trees  ;D

Does he still have something to do with the Wright from Malta mentionned above, or is it just a coincidence that he has a similar name ?

I don't know where he got the Wright name from, certainly not his family who were called Da Costa and Jewish as I had always suspected but now have DNA proof.
