I presume this is the daughter's marriage:

Ruth Mary HARPER

Marylebone 1a 1171

Ruth's father was listed as John Thomas HARPER, shorthand writer, deceased.

Given that you know Ruth's mother's name you perhaps already have her birth certificate (or not?). Please can you tell us what you do already know about the family and what you would like to find out?
