Henry Moss b1847 Ireland
« on: Saturday 17 July 10 00:19 BST (UK) »
Hi all this paticular family have got me rather stuck.

Henry Thomas b 1847 Ireland had 2 wives Sarah Ann, and Eliza Jane. Now i cannot find a marriage for either of them, nor a death for Sarah Ann.

also to confuse us more, out of there several children, 2 of them i cannot find any birth index for them.

1871 Henry Moss appears with an Ann Moss, but there is a marriage for a Henry Thomas Moss and Sarah Ann Pape, Leeds. in 1872. now in 1881 i have them with 2 children Mary elizabeth and William Hy. ....... But there is also another Henry Moss with a Sarah Ann who was born Holbeck, Leeds, not Ireland, and they have a William Pape with them, so i have kind off discarded Sarah Ann Pape marriage,

Now in 1891 Henry is with Eliza Jane with 5 Children: Florence Amelia, Arthur Frederick, Edgar Clarence, Emily Maud and Lillian.

And in 1901 they have 2 more children, Percy and Sarah E V.

i am asking for help on the following:

Marriage to both Sarah Ann and Eliza Jane.
Death for Sarah Ann
birth indexes for Florence Amelia b 1881 Leeds  and Edgar Clarence. 1886, Leeds

any help greatly appriciated
Names i am researching are: Riley, Peaker, Jones,Smith, Dobson, Ford, Humphries, Cross, Peckston, Power, Raby, Raper, Snipe Hulse, Whelan, Darling, Morton, Wild, Moss, Ibbotson, Grimes, Broadbelt, Jowett, Nicholson

Hi

In light of Edgar registered as PECKSTON - I would think these may be the other two children , Arthur Frederick & Emily Maud on the 1891.

BIRTHS
Arthur PECKSTON  - Mar Qtr 1884 Leeds
Maud Moss PECKSTON - Mar Qtr 1887 Leeds

Can't see Lilian as a Peckston? Maybe she was registered MOSS.

Can't see a marriage of Eliza Jane PECKSTON at all, anytime....

I have Sarah Ann Moss in the 1881 census, so death would be after then.

Thanks anyway
