It's really interesting to see the pictures. Thank you for posting them. Do you have any of the interior?  I beleive it was quite fancy.

My grandfather was also Robert Young, my mother his daughter Margaret. You and I met briefly at The Laurels years ago at a family gathering. If you are still researching family history we may have some information from our own research that is useful to you, if only as confirmatory of your own work.

Very Interesting about the growth of McCullochs from a small drapers shop. Would be a great help if anyone out there can remember who the Company Secretary was around 1930 onwards? It might be a key to helping with our family story.
