Hi All
sorry for the late reply, after doing all the recommended suggestions. All I could see was small plastic digital timers, that for some reason i wasn't looking for.I was thinking bigger ;D but as i haven't been well for a few weeks now i think I was a bit dozy at the time ;D.
On seeing the timers I went out the next day and got one from the 1 pound shop on the kitchen stuff shelf. It is just what i wanted its great it has its own stand so i have it by the computer you can even clip it onto your clothing.Set it by minutes or seconds like the microwave timer. It did give me a fright though when i tested it  i was reading something of interest on the P.C and forgot about the timer ;D  I was expecting a beep when it went off instead i got a phone ring that nearly gave me a heart attack ;D ;D

I don't know why i never thought of getting a timer Long ago ::)I have burnt so many pizzas practising the time which to cook them.I don't like them, but one day i might ;D I never did get the timing right  and they burnt to a cinder. They would have made good Frisbees though ;D and my blackcurrant crumbles ::) the currents were that burnt i had to wait till the went cold. Then lift it out in one piece ;D
Hopfully i can now get my home cooking out of the oven just right

My sons bought my mum a fridge magnet which said " if you can't smell burning it must be salad tonight"

It was so true,as my mum could burn water- she always got sidetracked whilst cooking  ;D
