does anyone know what "registered in Middlesex 25 feb 1809Book 2 no 229" refers to ...it's in an abstract of title of 16 grove place tottenham.

have looked at that but it doesn't tell me what book 2 is...i sometimes wish i lived in london so I could go look at these things but I don't so I cant and can't afford fees for LMA to look for me

At this point it appears to be an index reference.

The Middlesex Deeds Registry is about the buying and selling of property/land in Middlesex.

The vast majority of the population rented. If the family owned and lived in the property in 1809 you might expect some mention of it in wills left by them.
