BIRD Family of Ashwell

Hi I am  trying to find my mothers side of the family.  Her Mother was Violet Williamson Stanton (nee Bird) her father was John Bird and her mother Martha Bird (nee Carver).

The family lived in Ashwell I think or possibly Wrestlingworth

Hope someone can help and perhaps have a photo as I have never seen a picture of my grandmother

Wrestlingworth is in Beds, and Ashwell "on the border", and so you may also want to involve the Bedfordshire board.

Violet Williamson Stanton (nee Bird) Born in Wrestlingworth (I believe) 1879 Married Arthur Stanton 1905 died 1921 in Hinxworth.  I realise she lived on the borders of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Have you looked for the family in the 1881 census which is free at www.familysearch.org ?

They were living in Cockayne Hatley, Beds, and Violet's birthplace is shown as Hatley
