Heitch.

Hello. I inadvertantly deleted a RootsChat thread, so if you have sent any info about the graves of Mary Jones (nee Evans) and Robert Jones in Bodfari churchyard recently please don't think I am ignoring you. It is that I haven't received any new messages. I hope I have put things right now.
Thanks, Ena.

Hi Ena,
I went back to the graveyard, but no luck I'm afraid. There are a couple of "Robert Jones" graves which are legible, but none with a wife "Mary". Unfortunately the graves from the 1890's-early 1900's are in the worst state, (a lot of missing headstones and the laid down stones are covered with an inch or two of grass & moss) :'(

Thanks for your efforts Helen.
I dare say that one of the Robert Jones graves belong to G.Grand-dad.
Maybe Mary died earlier or was buried elsewhere. She is certainly elusive, can't find any info relating to her anywhere, before her marriage. I will just have to keep on digging (not in graveyards, of course!!)
Thanks again.
Ena.
