Wiltshire OPC site is up and running again!

I used to be one for a village in Wilts (Collingbourne Kingston), but had to cede my position to someone else due to time constraints.

I would like to add my sincere thanks to Dorset OPC, and all OPCs in general! I know how much work it takes and appreciate it even more now!!

Wouldn't it be lovely if more of us who've been helped by OPC were to volunteer to do some transcribing or whatever is most needed . One way to say thankyou & help boost the data available.

Kent has been my best buddy, maybe I should have tried Lancashire as well :)

Hi Mike,

 a good place to look is the UKBM site: http://www.ukbmd.co.uk/

In the menu on the left, click on "OPC".

No Glamorgan OPC site there (yet) but keep an eye on the page - if a new OPC is statred, it will most likely be mentioned there.

I also greatly appreciate the sterling work done by them, especially the Lancashire one, which is a superb site, and greatly valued by many. It's no easy matter trying to do the transcribing - I don't think Interflora could provide all the bouquets these unsung, unpaid heroes deserve. Just wish other counties had a site as good as the Lancashire one.
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)
