Looking for the marriage of Joseph Kilford to Mary Cole in the Amesbury district of Wiltshire in 1859.

Hi Vaz,

No I had not yet got the details, so thank you very much. Two quick q's...you did not list a date? I only have the year, 1859. And I had no idea he was a widower!! I did a quick search on freebmd and see a possible marriage in 1856 to either Elizabeth Fishlock or Mary Anne Bacon...are you able to shed any light on this marriage?

If nothing online for 1st marriage then hopefully someone (me or anyone else with access) can take a look for you. I may possibly be at the RO later next week and will take a look if I am (sorry - it's a bit ad hoc as to my RO visits!)

But looks like if that is your Josephs first marriage in 1856, then it was possibly to Elizabeth Fishlock as there is an Amesbury Free BMD death in Jun qtr 1858 for an Elizabeth KILFORD, and also a Henry KILFORD same quarter (mother and baby perhaps?).

... and family search pilot have a bap for Henry KILFORD to parents Joseph & Elizabeth 30th May 1858 in Shrewton...
