Hi  Wink,

Does anyone know of any information at all concenring any Blomvilles or various spellings in the area's above or below

The information I have is as follows

Davy's MSS

Called Blumnivule in 11 E 1 (1282-83) in Ips for Bung.
Owned in Henham, Gundesburgh, Ufford, Boulg.
They gave name to the manor in Getingham, Hachestow, Monks Soham
1 E 1 (Nov 1272-73) witness to Deed before Hachestow Wachesham.

Richard de blomville
of Bulcamp in Henham
time R1 1189-1199 (death dates)

H de Blomville

Hen de Blomville 1E1 = 1272-1273 (died)

H de Blomville 25E1 = 1296-1297

John de Blomville 33E1 = 1304-1305

Henry Blomville called
Hen de Grundesburgh

(1328-1329 of Weasen Hall)
twice sizors 3 E 3
called H de Bl

Rodland de Blonville 1345-1349

John De Blonville

Ed de Blonville

I understand from various documents that Rodland (Rolland/ Roudland) had a wife called Cecily and had Cleeve's (Blomville) Manor, Burgh & Boulge.

manors and property were also owned in:-
Grundisburgh, Boulge, Burgh, Ufford, Hacheston

any thoughts anyone?
