BENNETTO - Is anyone researching the family?

I have recently discovered that I have BENNETTO ancestors from Cornwall, in and around St Ewe.  Is anyone else searching the BENNETTO family or have any further information?  I'd like to hear from you if so.

I have an ancestor - Elizabeth BONETTO, from the Penzance area. I only have one line from her yet, but will be researching her from now on. Thought I'd just let you know

Having looked through the records, it would seem Bonnetto, Bennetto, Bonetta, bonnettow etc. are probably all the same family

Yes, absolutely agree with that one Fenifur, looking at the record I have for Jane it's hard to see whether it is BENETTO or BONETTO. Gulval / Penzance, I'm sure I shall come across your Elizabeth in time!

Hi,

I have a copy of my g grandfathers birth cert registered 26 June 1862. It shows that George Henry Tregidga was born to William Tregidga, farm labourer, and Priscilla Tregidga ( formerly Bennetto) on 15 June 1862. They lived at Trevuzza, St Enoder which is close to St Ewe.
I have not worked  on the Bennetto line yet but can tell you that George Henry Tregidga moved down to Camborne by the time of his marriage 30 Aug 1889.

I am searching for information on a Walter Bennetto Bn; 1851 Shoreditch Dd;1907 Islington London. Possible parents are John Paul & Charlotte Bennetto .Siblings Edward John Bn;1850 & Frank Louis Bn 1860. Walter married twice ; Mary Ann Mahon in 1875 at Holborn & Mary Ann /Marianne Taylor 1882 at  St Giles Registry Office ,London.  Any help with this family ,please.

When you say "possible parents" -- is this from a birth certificate, a baptism, a census record, someone's family tree?

Checking at http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl
there is a possible 1850 marriage in Stoke Damerel of John Bennetto to Charlotte Hamlyn
(no way to tell who married whom on the page without a certificate or parish record).

Are you looking for descendants of Walter, or for his ancestors?

Father John {possibly John Paul } & Charlotte Bennetto nee Salmon {married 27 June 1849 ,St Leonards, Shoreditch }
 Other children were; Edward ,Bn 1850 ,James Bn; 1855 Marylebone & Frank Louis Bn 1859 Shoreditch.
Johns' father was John Bennetto 1803 Falmouth - July 1859 Victoria ,Australia, mother Mary Bullen 1801 - 1865 Victoria Australia
Would like to know more about the siblings of Walter,marriages,family ,etc.
