Looking for Fielding relatives
« on: Sunday 11 July 10 18:51 BST (UK) »
Hello~
I am lookng for living Fielding relatives related to Arthur G Starling who married Dorothy Holmes in 1938 . Arthur passed away in 1974 in Croydon, I believe.  They had the following children:  Gerald who died in 1984, Phillip (living?), George who died as an infant, and Hilda who married Reginald J. Fielding in 1940.  Hilda had two sons:*-------------

We are traveling to London next week and would love to be able to meet them (or their children) IF I can locate them.  There is an entire branch of their family tree that they probably never knew about and I would love to connect with them to fill them in.

Also, Arthur had a brother named Leonard who lived in Croydon at 11 Benson Rd., Croydon until his death in 1974.  He was an electrical engineer.  I don't know if he married or had any children, but I would be interested in finding out! :)

Arthur and Leonard were the sons of William Starling and (?) Wright.  Not sure if the couple ever married.

Thank you in advance for any help that can be offered! :)

Elise

PS. Please send me a personal email since we are talking about living relatives!

Hello,
A long shot this, but did your Fielding family have any connection with Allen, Son & Fielding, Scrap Iron Merchants, Bond Road, Upper Mitcham, in the period after WW1?
The business existed in 1925/6 and may have been one where a Frederick James Allen and his brother Thomas Henry worked. Their father was Robert Henry Allen.

Hi

According to her profile, Elise hasn't been online here since 2011. As long as her email address hasn't changed she should receive notifications that we have posted and hopefully come back soon.
