Townsville Burial or funeral notice help

Can anyone help me with a Townsville burial please.

I'm looking for any information from newspaper or cemetery rcords for a Rosena Holt who died in 1947 probably at Townsville in Queensland.

The QLD BDM death record is 1947/1275

Have you tried; 
 http://newspapers.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/home

Did you want the date of death? If so, you can narrow the search on QLD BMD by cutting the year off month by month, when you fail to get a 'hit' you can then narrow it down by day of that month.

I'll check out the cremetorium site Jam and I have now narrowed down the death date to 16th March 1947, thanks for the tip Leonie.

Looks like I'll have to go to the State Libary in Brisbane and check out the old Townville Bulletins to see if a death or funeral notice was placed.
