I am interested in a marriage lookup for Robert McCune to Ann McCormick, 1 Sep 1866, Saintfield First Presbyterian Church, Downpatrick, Down

civil marriage record # 499627

I am specifically interested in the names of the parents of the groom and bride.

The familysearch pilot site at familysearch.org has the following


Marriage Register
Saintfield Down
Ireland

1 Sept 1866
Robert MC CUNE and Ann MC CORMICK
Both single
Groom's father = William MC CUNE
Bride's father = James MC CORMICK

No Mother's names mentioned

Site also shows baptisms of three children to this couple... James, John and Robert.

Irish marriage certificates only list fathers' names and occupations- mothers' names are never recorded.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
