They could be worth tracing back through certs and census to see if they might link up eventually with your Short family. There could be clues there to follow if you have nothing else to go on..

I've got them on all the certs and censuses that I can find. They seemed to have arrived after 1841. Thomas was born in Louth and Ann his wife in Cork and the 6 children were all born in Louth so I was hoping the marriage would be there.

I'll keep looking and hopefully I'll be able to pick up a clue somewhere along the lines.
