1911 census

Could anyone look at the 1911 census for sunderland tyne and wear, looking for a Sarah jane young born 1910,dont have any details about her apart from she may have had a sister called Mary and her father could have been called Edward, i believe she lived in new silkworth sunderland but that is all i know. hoping someone can help me....thank you for any help you can give me . regards Valerie (mackim)

Once you find the right person - make a note of the county and district in which they were living

Return to the index and in PERSONAL DETAILS - just put the surname of the family - nothing else

In LOCATION - Select the county and below it - type in the district

In OTHER MEMBERS OF THE HOUSEHOLD - show the full name of the person you have found on the index

You may also want to get her birth cert, which may be this one;
Sarah Jane Young birth reg Sept Quarter 1909 in Sunderland.
But beware, another Sarah Jane Young was registered in Mar Quarter 1909 in Chester le Street (and a third in 1909 in Shoreditch).  No others 1908 - 1912 inclusive.

A birth cert gives father's name and occupation and mother's name and maiden surname and the date and address where the birth was....and will cost £9.25 from General Register Office (can be ordered online).
