Toxteth Villa could refer to a row of houses - it was common around the turn of the 19th/20th century to name a row/pair of houses as "villas" and even give them a name plate - there are a few up my own street that still have the plaques up. Just had a look up there on Street View but I can't see any with a name plaque - though one still has a date plaque so they may well have existed before renovations became common - I'm from that neck of the woods and know the houses up Halsall Lane were all extensively renovated in the 80s.
