Thanks for all your comments. Genemaster thanks for your help but that is not my Patrick Flynn, he was living at Upper Northbrook Avenue when he died and his wife Kate died weeks later.
Anne not at the moment, but that site is very good and will look into it, but will be to late for this visit.
Marc, his death cert does say he was living at 19 Northbrook. The other people on the electoral roll were his family. Kate was his wife, the other Flynns were his children and Daniel Sweeny became his son in law. the Patrick you found on the census is not my Patrick. In 1911 he and his family were living in Loughrea Galway. They did not move to Dublin until about 1912 and lived in Clarks Cottages, then they moved to the Lock Keepers Cottage near Nth Strand and when he retiered to Northbrook. It also says on his census records that he was from Cavan.
Maybe the records at Glasnevin have misspelt his name and is worth asking when we go. I only have Patricks grand children to ask including my mother and like I said they all say he was buried in Glasnevin. My Aunty would have been about 16yrs old when he died and she is the eldest, and my mum about 13yrs.
I have been told by the people at Glasnevin that the plots belonged to Patricks youngest son Vincent. But he died in 1990 in Scotland, I have been in touch with his daughter but she was brought up in Scotland and knows little about the family.
