hi all
i am looking for information on Goronwy wyn Williams

he ran the Glasyn iron foundry at Porthmadog, and when i am searching hin it is coming up is Poet- Has anybody heard of him or any of his work?

anything would be good as all i have are the year of birth an death and his parents were Charles Henry Williams and Annie

are you certain you have the correct birth/death reg???

the Goronwy who died 1981 Pwheli dist has a d.o.b. 28sept 1912
and going by the d.o.b. he was not the one who was b Pwlheli????

I knew Goronwy Wyn Williams and some of his children; one of them was in the same class as me at school. As I am now living near Caernarfon I'm out of touch with what's happened to the children, but will make enquiries.

Failed to find anything on Glaslyn Foundry at Caernarfon yesterday, except for reference to newspaper cuttings,correspondence with the Waterworks Company and some valuations. For some reason failed to find anything thro' the link in Suzard's reply, but using a search engine from my Home Page got thro' to Archive Wales website and found info on Glaslyn Foundry/Goronwy Wyn Williams !
