I am trying to find out where my G G Grandfather John Brodigan was born.Has anyone done any research into this name if you have I would like to hear from you.

Not really any need to start a new thread- you've already got 5 threads on various boards looking for marriage, etc. of John Brodigan. Did you follow the advice about getting a baptismal record given on 1st Meath thread?

Hi,
   In the PRONI Wills Calendar there is a John Brodigan from Drogheda who died in 1878 but he was a grocer.

Hi Danielle, thanks for getting in touch I think my G G Grandfather John Brodigan probably came from that area but I am struggling to find a record of his birth, all I have found is a crew list where he gives his place of birth as Keil, don't suppose you know where this is it could be a spelling mistake I thought it might be Kells but apparently not.

Hi Aghadowey.Thankyou for your advice,I did contact Martin and he was very helpful but disappointingly there is no record for Johns baptism in Kells. Sorry I have not replied to you sooner.

heya eh ya i think it could be kells as lots of brodigans live there now  :)
