I have John HAMILTON's marriage & death certificates.

John's parent's were William HAMILTON  - shoemaker (deceased), and Elizabeth HENDRY (still living) at the time of his marriage to Margaret Shaw in 1856

Margaret SHAW's parents were John SHAW - Sawyer (deceased) and Sarah DICK (deceased)

This looks to be Margaret Shaw's family in 1851 from what you have - everyone born in Galston apart from mother:

Good luck on the searches  There are a couple of deaths between 1881-91 in Glasgow for a Margaret Shaw/Hamilton but ages are out (maybe misindexed?). Your trip to Edinburgh will hopefully sort it out!
