Harris/Leetch/Kyle/Whiteford(Portglenone)

There is only one Kyle family of Tullynahinion and they still exist and live in Tullynahinion and Finkiltagh. The remaining kyles around Portglenone are most certainly related but in a very distant fashion.
I am in posetion of the census book for the area 1936 if there is a posability of that being a help.

1936 census? is this a church census of some sort?

Proper census. Information gathered by each local Police station of the time.
To date censuses have been taken in 1926, 1936, 1946, 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1979 or at least thats what gov says and the dates agree with 1936 and the recorded age of everyone here at the time.
I am at a little of a loss as there seems to be some daft thing about 100 yrs and I know that this information is not due for release untill 2036 but my father says there a only a few survivors noted within the details and for the life of me I cnat see anything that would cause a problem or at least not to anyone involved in this posting.
As to why it is in my posetion is a long story but the short version is simple. Portglenone Barracks threw it in the skip.

My name is Vance Kyle. I was born in Tullynahinion, near Portglenone in Co Antrim in *. My father's name was David and he was one of 9 children born to my grandparents William Kyle (think his brothers were Joseph and James) and Isabella Crawford. My grandfather had a flax mill in Tullynahinion but I think the family originally lived in Finkiltagh.

My father was born in September 1903 and my grandfather died in the 1950s. There are numerous connections between the families Crawford, Dunlop and Leitch with the Kyles. My mother's maiden name is McKeown and she is still alive (95 this month) and might be able to provide information that I am not aware of. She is very "compus mentus" but deaf as a doorpost.

married William Boyle in 1st Presbyterian Portglenone 2 Jan 1883
moved to Greenock between 1885/1888

grandson William Boyle
b. 14 Sep 1885 Lisrodden Portglenone
d. 14 Feb 1897 Lisrodden Portglenone, informant Mary Morrow aunt Lisrodden

Hi,
   Not sure what you are looking for but John Kyle married Agnes Morrow in Portglenone First PChurch in 1854. The fathers' names were Hugh Kyle and James Morrow.

James Kyle was married to Ellen Greer in Glasgow 1890 his parents were John Kyle and Elizabeth Surgenor.
