Did you ever find your Rupert Harris??
There was one born in the 2nd quarter of 1898 and registered in Stourbridge (which covered parts of Shropshire at that time). GRO Volume is 6c, page 157.

There were to families of underwoods living on stone row Hinks haye which is now dawley and manislea by info I can remember gather both were related and at one point inlaws poyners wer also living with them hope this is of help xx
