Any info on William Thomas Benson b. 1855 and wife Isabella Grimison b. 1859, who married and settled in East Belfast? Children Elizabeth, b. Scotland 1877, William b. 1879, Samuel b. 1881 England and Thomas b.1889 Belfast. Thanks all.

In the 1901 census,www.census.nationalarchives.ie there is a family of Bensons living in Bright St. Pottinger, Co. Down which may be them.

Isabella Grimason / Grimeson / Grimison Married Thomas Benson on 5 Oct 1877 at Partick, Lanarck, Scotland.
Father of the bride is listed as John Grimason
Mother of the bride is listed as Margaret Sinton



This is part of my Grimason One Name Study.
Grimason and all variations World Wide a Guild Of One Name Studies registered surname.
Grimesey and all variations, said to be a corruption of GRIMASON
Grimshaw ex County Armagh Ireland
