Is  or was there a street address for Parkside House, Macclesfield?
 
One of my ancestors had mail addressed to this address in 1910, and  I hope that the 1911 census will give me further information.  In order to do an address search I need a street name and number. 

Was Parkside House an institution of some sort.

There used to be a Parkside Hospital in Macclesfield , maybe Parkside House was part of that.

A "Parkside Cottage" is shown on the 1910 map, near the South East Lodge to the Asylum.  On the 1875 map it is just called "Parkside". It is on Chester Road. Of course Parkside House could be a euphemism for the Asylum.

As the link shows, the Hospital  in the 40's/50's was a residential centre for those suffering from the severest forms of epilepsy, in later years I remember those with dementia who were beyond the support of caregivers were also there.

I believe they also did outpatient treatments  - EEG etc.

I can't speak for those early years but I know in the time  I talk about the patient 'catchment' area was at least a 30 mile radius.
