Could be, but I favour Fisher or Fisk. Believe that Crockford's guide to the clergy may give the name of the incumbent.

To look up Crockfords I'd think the clergyman's surname is essential :(
 Maybe you could do it by the name of the parish ...

On reflection Charlotte I think you are right. If there is a list of clergy by parish then that would be the answer I think.

According to the CCED (Clergy of the Church of England Database http://www.theclergydatabase.org.uk/index.html there was a Peter Felix who was a Stipendiary Curate in Chelsea at about this time. http://www.rootschat.com/links/090y/
