i am looking for a john mahon who in 1845 to 1852 has children born in goose green and high park.he is a witness to Michael mooney stealing potatoes  in 1842 from the property of isaacc warren of high park. does anyone know what was in this area at the time or as it just the sanatorium.

Don't know if it will help, but High Park, Drumcondra, was home to Isaac Warren (who died there in Jan 1846) and his wife Christina Mary.  Isaac Warren was a merchant, at Eustace Street, Dublin.

In DUBLIN CITY DIRECTORY 1850
Isaac Warren is listed as a China Merchant at 14 Eustace Street but can't think there would be too many potatoes there.

Wonder if the potatoes were growing at High Park?

Does anyone have any information on John Mahon who was a Gardener and who lived in goose green around 1838ish he also later worked for Isaac Coates?
