Anthony Forster baptism lookup - Winlaton/Ryton

Hi im looking into my family history and am trying to find out if anthony forster was one of my family, my great grandfather was Thomas forster born 1881, married Jane Harrison in 1901, living in hedgefield avenue, blaydon in the 1911 census. 4 children Bertha, William, Robert & John george(my grandad) please let me know if theres any connection. thanks Leslie

The are roughly 100 years between Anthony Forster and your Thomas Forster, do you have any more historical information to go in for Thomas.  Grandparents, gt grandparents.

I still do not have a positive Id for Anthony's parents, but am being more pointed toward him being born much prior to the dates on the census returns and death and that he was the son of John Forster (1745-1817).

I also think that Anthony was married before Mary Cowen and it was to an Isabel Ward, however I need to prove that one too.

Still looking for more info, found the registers of Ryton, marriages 1581-1812. Could be a help for you. Available to read online or download free. open library.org. or archive.org. I just googled registers of ryton. hope it helps if you havnt already seen it that is.

Thanks, I had seen this and there is a Marriage between Anthony and Isabel Ward which is what made me think that Anthony had been married previously.  A death for Isabel is what I am now looking for, the  marriage record for Anthony and Mary does not give their status at the time of marriage.

However to link your Forster family with mine, I will need more info that what you have already provided.
