Any links to Bartholomew: born around 1821 and emigrated to Manchester before 1842?

Since the birth of Bartholomew is long before the start of civil registration in 1864 you will need to research parish records. To do this you need to establish the religion of the Doran family and a detailed location for them - i.e. parish, town or townland.

With a common surname like Doran you would probably need further clues to confirm any details you may find. Do you have a marriage record for Bartholomew showing his father's name ?

All I have is his age/DoB, from the marriage registration to Frances Collins in Manchester in 1842. Place of birth "Ireland". Very poor pickings!

the connection between the two trees and barts parents has not been made yet by the host of the trees but by looking through the censuses the link is obvious .
