The links to the scans of the registers are great.

I have looked and found several good records but i am intrigued by the talk of scans... is this available on all and if not, how do you idenify those that do have?

When you click on a record you will see a message

"The church register page containing this record has not yet been imaged."

or

"View the church register page containing this record."

Hi,

I am sure hoping this will be case!

After more than five years of travelling to Dublin ( not a terrible thing to do) and trawling through parish registers, line by line, parish by parish... I found my Greatgrandfathers' family!  Yeah!!!!

As far as I am aware, scans will be added later this year when the rest of the Dublin RC Parishes are added.

Can I clarify?  Are they adding in RC & COI records for all 32 counties?

I dont think so... the initial plans are to cover Dublin City (and some parts of the county), Cork City and west county, and counties Kerry and Carlow.

As far as I can see they are concentrating on areas not already covered by the IFHF system.

Thanks.
Offaly isn't currently covered by IFHF so it would be fantastic if it was eventually added.

The IFHF are apparently working on records for Offaly & Laois... it was in a newsletter they sent earlier this year..
